This issue is a rare find. So rare, in fact, that I didn’t even know of its existence until I saw it included in a lot of magazines I bought on eBay. I purchased a small lot of three issues of inside stuff, and this issue was either snuck in, or the person I ordered it from threw it in as an add-on. It’s pretty beaten up, as you can tell by the pictures, but I'm happy to have it since I’ve never seen another one for sale. As usual, click the link for the full experience. To the inside stuff!
News & NotesÂ
I might have missed this in a few of the previous issues with the redesign, but here’s something they call ‘The Feed,' which is a photo of a dope pass. Fingers crossed I get a Steve Nash one soon.
I love old three-pointer stats and comparing them to today’s game. Case in point: number of three-pointers attempted in the 1996-97 season: 21,907. The number of three-pointers attempted in the 2023-2024 season: 86,355 (!)

Let’s dig into this issue’s letters. I know it’s fun to highlight the snarky mail from disgruntled fans, but there’s a really nice one in here from a fan from Minnesota who just wanted to say thanks for the Larry Bird piece in the last issue.
Looking at the rest of these, they’ve really toned down the snark. Most of these are thank yous and points out when fans aren’t happy with a player's use of bad language, hustle, or unsportsmanlike conduct. Let’s keep it positive!
Posterized!
Love them both, but I’m feeling the Admiral a bit more.
