I grew up in Atlanta and those Lithuanian bball tie-dye shirts were EVERYWHERE in the summer of 96. I always wanted one, but they were sold out when we went down to the Olympic park (we watched handball and fencing, could not afford the basketball tickets, haha)
I have a memory of seeing the Dream Team III in Charlotte. We were so far up, our backs were to the wall of the arena. Looking at the schedule though, it seems like all the games were in Atlanta. I wonder if it was a warm-up exhibition or something of that nature.

I loved watching the Olympics in '96. I watched a ton of baseball, gymnastics, and hoops. Handball must've been pretty fun to see live!

Maybe it was Dream Team II! https://www.upi.com/Archives/1994/07/31/Dream-Team-wins-exhibition-game/9131775627200/
Awesome! I think Michael Finley was on the Goodwill Games team in the mid-'90s. Maybe Duncan, too?
